School Profile
Regular classes are organized in heterogeneous groups. Students with mild special needs are integrated into the classroom settings. Assistance to these students may be provided in both the regular classroom and in individual or group settings. Evansdale offers full day Kindergarten. Three Behavior Learning Assistance district site classes and an Early Education Program are an integral part of our school community. We are also very pleased to be the designated school for families that reside in the Belle Rive area.
Our Instructional Focus is comprehension of both oral and written language. As professional teams we will be working to identify and utilize research based "best practices". Please watch for more information in our monthly school newsletter. We will place additional emphasis on student behavior through the recognition of positive behavior.
In addition, the school will continue to strengthen alliances with the community and social service agencies that serve the community in an effort to better and more efficiently meet the needs of our multicultural student population.
